Rod end joint bearings can be composed of rod end bodies and radial joint bearings with seat holes, rod end bodies and inner rings, or rod end bodies and inner rings, and sliding layers, usually divided into left, right, and inner and outer threads. The LS rod end spherical plain bearing sliding friction pair can be composed of different materials, including steel to steel, steel to bronze, steel to PTFE composite and steel to PTFE braid.
LS steel has good wear resistance to steel rod end joint bearings and LS steel has good wear resistance to bronze rod end joint bearings, and can work normally even with little lubrication. However, under normal circumstances, periodic lubrication is necessary. This type of bearing is particularly suitable for withstanding alternating heavy loads.
LS self-lubricating rod end spherical plain bearing has two sliding friction pairs: steel to PTFE composite and steel to PTFE braid. This kind of bearing has a low friction coefficient and requires no maintenance during operation. They are suitable for applications that require a longer service life or where steel is not suitable for steel bearings due to the inability to lubricate during operation, and are suitable for withstanding constant heavy loads.
